1. Google Search Console Page Authority checker I enjoyed reading your article. Indeed, what you describe is the things that are very important to create a successful blog. The things that I’ve actually read in another article.
Craig C. He says “a little bit of a push to make your website a little bit better, so that the algorithms can clearly say, yes, this really belongs on the first page.” which I thought was an interesting turn of phrase. ‘First page’, rather than ‘number 1’.
Any link that you create on your own should be set at “no follow”. The reason for this is that you’re essentially telling Google that the link was created to generate traffic and not to artificially boost your search engine results. This includes things like press releases, guest blog posts, links generated through business relationships and partnerships and even comments!
If you publish new articles on a daily or weekly basis, Google will crawl your website more often and will give you more authority.
Thank for this superb article. Looking for some beginners tips explained in very simple language.
Google may choose to show what you type in the description as a snippet for your page or may decide to use a part of your page’s content.

January 9, 2018 at 3:55 pm QUOTE: “Content which is copied, but changed slightly from the original. This type of copying makes it difficult to find the exact matching original source. Sometimes just a few words are changed, or whole sentences are changed, or a “find and replace” modification is made, where one word is replaced with another throughout the text. These types of changes are deliberately done to make it difficult to find the original source of the content. We call this kind of content “copied with minimal alteration.” Google Search Quality Evaluator Guidelines March 2017
Another link building technique that uses infographics. With this method, instead of publishing an infographic and begging other people to share it, you’re pushing them to release it on their site in exchange for unique content.
As well as analyzing your search traffic, it’s worth paying attention to the keywords that generate traffic for your site.

Mobile-Friendly Websites Google’s roots are in Academia, having started when Lawrence Page and Sergey Brin were Students at Stanford University, and the original PageRank patent was assigned to Stanford since it was worked upon while Page was a student before Google was incorporated. There are a number of papers that influenced how Google was developed in the earliest days on the Stanford site, and Stanford used to have a page filled with a list of those papers, which I came across once. I didn’t save a copy of it, even though I immediately went and read most of those papers. A lot of what Google is doing can be said to be complex mathematical word problems. That is part of the fun of reading though their patents, and trying to get a sense of how they are developing patents to try to solve problems.

In the post How Google May Respond to Reverse Engineering of Spam Detection, I wrote about the patent Reverse engineering circumvention of spam detection algorithms. I remembered how Google responded when people brought up the Google Rank-Modifying Spammers Patent, that I wrote about in #13, telling people that just because they had a patent doesn’t mean they necessarily use it.

Public Tools Reason From there, I'm going to next urge you to use Google Trends. Why? Why would I go to Google Trends? Because what I want you to do is I want you to look at some of your big keywords and topics in Google Trends to see if there has been a serious decline in search volume at the same time. If search demand is rising or staying stable over the course of time where you have lost traffic, it's almost certainly something you've done, not something searchers are doing. But if you see that traffic has declined, for example, maybe you were ranking really well for population data from 2015. It turns out people are now looking for population data for 2016 or '17 or '18. Maybe that is part of the problem, that search demand has fallen and your curve matches that.

SEO is an ongoing process. Search engines are updating their rankings algorithm a few time each year. Hence why SEO techniques that used to work last year, can be obsolete today.
